Krista Cutler of The Cutler Group with Exit Realty South has a passionate for real estate and it shows.

While Krista was still working in corporate America, she and her husband, Christian, began their real estate journey by “flipping properties”. Krista was immediately intrigued by every aspect of a real estate transaction so in 2006 when Krista was thinking of making a career change, she decided to follow her passion and started her career as a full-time Real Estate Broker. She started her business by focusing on the South Park area which included neighborhoods close to the new Light Rail corridor including Collins Park, Colonial Village and Madison Park. Since then her business and referrals have grown rapidly expanding her focus South of Uptown Charlotte including SouthEnd, Dilworth, South Park, Ballantyne, Steele Creek and Pineville.

After having a couple negative experiences with Realtors in the past, Krista vowed to make working with a real estate agent a positive experience for all involved in the transaction. Krista commits to her clients that they will always receive the top notch service they expect and deserve starting with education and maintaining communication throughout the real estate transaction. She thinks these are the two biggest keys to a successful transaction and this method has proven to be successful for sellers to first-time home buyers to seasoned investors.

She starts by spending time talking about the buying process and listening to the buyers wants and needs such as new construction vs. an older home, what style home, how do they live in the home and probably most important, what payment do they feel comfortable with.

- Through her experiences with flipping properties she has gained a wealth of knowledge pertaining to foreclosures and short sales. Krista is able to take this knowledge as well as her ability to educate and assist buyers in finding properties that are undervalued and provide viable options to improve the property.

- Krista also works with several investors that have many different methods for creating wealth. Some like to fix up properties to sell them immediately, other like to purchase long term properties and rent them out. Whatever their plan, Krista is able to discuss options and put them in touch with mortgage planners that can assist them in making educated decisions about their investments.

Krista moved to Charlotte in the late 90’s after graduating from college. Now she could not imagine living anywhere else and is proud to show people around the beautiful and charming city of Charlotte, NC. Before finding her passion, Cutler spent several years in marketing and managing mid-size companies. These experiences have afforded her several skills that are helpful in Real Estate. Her marketing side allows the creative and advertising side to flourish while her management and analytical side makes her detail oriented and precise.

Krista’s success as a Real Estate Broker can be seen through repeat customers, continued referrals, as well as some of her accomplishments including being nominated as a “5 Star Agent” by Charlotte Magazine multiple years, Top Ten NC Exit Realtors by volume 2009, Exit Realty South’s 2007, 2008 and 2009 Sales Leader, Exit Realty South’s 2007 Listing Leader as well as Exit Realty Corporate prestigious 90-10 Club and The Floyd Wickman Leadership Award.

Krista enjoys working with her husband and loves to spend time with their son and two energetic dogs. The couple is also very passionate about several charities but focuses on Susan G. Komen – Race for the Cure and the Humane Society. She is active in her community and Church.
