Lila is a native of Shelby, NC; graduate of Peace College - Raleigh, NC; UNC-Chapel Hill, NC (Chi Omega Sorority) and a Charlotte resident since 1991. She obtained her real estate license from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission in May, 1980. Her husband, Mike, is a native Charlottean and has been a Realtor for over 30 years. Through the years they both have been active in the faith and non-profit communities, sharing of their time and effort to make this region a better place to live. They reside in Charlotte with their two miniature Schnauzers, Barney and Daisy.
One of Lila's causes is the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She supports the foundation by participating every October in Charlotte's Susan G. Komen Foundation "Race for the Cure". Also, after each real estate closing she makes a donation to the Komen Foundation in honor and recognition of her clients.
